Female Who Dresses Male Sues Christian University to Live in Male Dorm

The assault never ends.

Campus Reform reports that a woman dressed as a man filed suit against a Christian university in Oregon because the school won’t allow her to live in a male dorm.

“Jayce” claims that George Fox University is violating Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which bars schools receiving federal funds from discriminating based on sex. Fact: Jacye is a female, and females at this Christian school live in dorms designated for women, regardless of how individuals dress or perceive themselves.

From the school’s statement:

George Fox strives to be a Christ-centered community and our residential facilities are single gender because of our theological commitments. The student’s request to switch from female-only on-campus housing to male-only on-campus housing is one that many institutions would struggle with.

While the university did not grant his request to live on campus with males, the student was not denied on-campus housing. He was offered the option of an on-campus single apartment with a commitment from Student Life to ensuring he stayed socially connected to the community.

The university has researched the student’s attorney’s legal claims and believes they are without merit, especially given the religious nature of the university.

Unless a woman who wants to be a man biologically exchanges her XX chromosome pair for XY, she remains a female and should abide by the college’s rules–a Christian college, no less. Or transfer to a secular school, where she’d likely meet no resistance.

“Being a religiously-affiliated school does not mean having to be unwilling to hear Jayce’s story, see past preconceived notions of sex and gender and respect him for who God made him,” the woman’s mother wrote.

“Blasphemy” is politically incorrect, so that means it applies here, right? This is the culture war. I hope George Fox University upholds its principles and stands firm against this kind of in-your-face deviancy (not to mention sin) that seeks not mere acceptance, but celebration.
