This Is How Our Incomes Facilitate the Death of the Unborn

What abortion advocates don’t seem to understand is that pro-lifers don’t want their money going to Planned Parenthood for any reason, not even to pay the electric bill.

The claim that no tax money pays for abortions doesn’t cut it. Any taxpayers’ money going into Planned Parenthood’s bank account facilitates the death of the unborn.

There are other clinics that provide the kind of preventive care Planned Parenthood claims to offer, clinics that don’t snuff out unborn life.

Life News took on the claim that tax dollars don’t fund abortion.

The Hyde Amendment prohibits federal funding for abortions, except in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother’s life, but, as Life News noted, “this amendment does not prevent federal dollars from going into Planned Parenthood’s already bulging coffers (yearly revenues of nearly $1.3 billion in its latest annual report for 2014-15) for other purposes–and there are many ways in which Planned Parenthood can use that government largesse to market its brand and keep its abortion clinics open.”

The money that doesn’t pay for rare-case abortions “can nonetheless go to pay for staff salaries, office equipment, rent or community education and outreach programs that raise the group’s profile and reputation. Moreover, even if it does not pay for abortions, federal dollars nevertheless serve as official recognition of the group’s medical credentials (whatever their actual safety record) and the social acceptability of their agenda and mission. That alone may provide some assurance (albeit unwarranted) to the woman vacillating back and forth over whether to abort her baby.”

Setting aside federal funding, some states reimburse the costs of killing babies.

It’s all accounting. The money from our paychecks might not go directly fund abortions, but every tax dollar these clinics receive fuels the fire of death.

  2. Blood money, and nothing but. By whatever name you want to disguise it, it’s still money for mass murder.
