Can a Divided Country Survive? — Watch Cure America Episode 53

Is our country at the brink of another civil war? The landscape looks dire as two competing worldviews divide the country. While the progressives want to implement the socialist ideals that government should be in control of every part of our lives and determining how we live, conservative Christians want government out of their lives and to be given the freedom to work and worship in accordance with Biblical truths that God is our source.

In this week’s episode of CURE America with Star Parker, we discuss the troubling times in our country: the politicization of the breach of the Capitol on January 6th, the treatment of those being detained over that action, and what the real goals are of the January 6th commission created by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.

We share footage from our visit to the D.C. detention facility holding some of the January 6th detainees and the press conference held by Members of Congress who are searching for answers about how these prisoners are being treated. We debate the subject with our panelists: Rick Manning, President of Americans for Limited Government; Peter Roff, contributing editor at Newsmax; and Sarah Parshall-Perry, legal counsel at The Heritage Foundation. Rev. Charles McNeil, Pastor of Unity Baptist Church in Washington, D.C and a member of CURE’s Clergy Network gives some comforting words on how to bridge the divides.
