This Father’s Viral Anti-CRT Speech Should Inspire Parents Everywhere

Remember this father who let his town know why he opposes “critical race theory” in government schools? His name is Derrick Wilburn, he’s from Colorado Springs, and his viral speech had a huge impact.

After his speech, Colorado Springs District 49 voted 3-2 to ban the teaching of CRT in its schools. Wilburn said CRT is taking America in the wrong direction. Neither he nor his three children are victims of America, he said, but he teaches his kids that they are victims of their own ignorance, their own laziness, and their own poor decision-making.
