WATCH: Maxine Waters Won’t Like What These Conservatives Urged Congress to Do

Star Parker, founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), along with CURE’s Executive Vice President Derek McCoy, Liberty Counsel’s Jonathan Alexandre, Black Conservative Federation’s Diante Johnson, Katrina Pierson, Bishop Aubrey Shines, Bishop David Richey, and Victory Christian Center’s Johms Gool, held a press conference on Capitol Hill earlier today to call on Congress to censure Rep. Maxine Waters for encouraging violence against fellow American citizens who work for the Trump administration.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them!” Waters said. “And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere.”

Star said the “left of our society are extremely angry right now and have become unhinged upon the election of President Donald Trump. Over the last year and a half, tensions have escalated even within families to where they’re not even able to have discussions, similar to what we saw right before our Civil War.”

Social media has made it easy to fuel opportunities to organize and intimidate people with threats.

Star calls the attacks against President Trump supporters “absolutely unacceptable in a free society.” She believes a censure from Congress will send a strong message that violence and vileness must be stopped in order to maintain a civil society. She added that House Speaker Paul Ryan must sternly address Waters’s call to extremism based on where individuals work and with whom they associate.

  1. If our cowardly congress does not censor Maxine Waters, is there anyone left standing to censure them ? Thank you, Star, for being among those who will not sit down.
