WATCH: Did Planned Parenthood Just Admit Doing Outlawed Partial-Birth Abortions?

Despite criticism and accusations of deceptive editing, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released an 11th Planned Parenthood undercover videoThe latest video features Dr. Amna Dermish of Austin, Texas, describing a procedure that sounds like partial-birth abortion to harvest intact aborted-baby body parts.

“My aim is usually to get the specimens out pretty intact,” she said. Including heads for brains? From CMP (emphasis added):

Dermish does not use the chemical digoxin to kill the fetus before 20 weeks, so her feet-first, intact extraction abortions are done on living fetuses. Using ultrasound guidance to manipulate the fetus from vertex to breech orientation before extracting the yet-living fetus is a hallmark of the illegal partial-birth abortion procedure (18 U.S.C. 1531).

Dermish also affirms a fetal body part price of $50 or $60 per specimen. The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2).

Did Dermish just admit she does partial-birth abortions to get intact fetal parts? The operative asked her about harvesting brains. Not yet, she said, but “this will give me something to strive for!” She laughed.

Partial-birth abortion involves delivering a live baby halfway, then puncturing his skull while he’s still inside the birth canal. Congress banned partial-birth abortion in 2003.
