Margaret Sanger’s Work Continues

It’s odd how liberals seem to find “racism” under rocks. Hypersensitive to anything that might show even the slightest racial bias, they seem to have no problems with honoring a woman like Margaret Sanger. By now it’s well known that she was a supporter of eugenics, considered blacks “socially undesirable people” and once said, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.”

Sanger was entitled to hold and express her opinions, but the problem is what she created based on those opinions. She founded the American Birth Control League in 1923, Planned Parenthood’s forerunner. Over a decade later, she developed a program called the “Negro Project” to use black ministers and doctors to spread her message of contraception and sterilization among blacks. Birth control per se isn’t the issue; it’s what it led to through Planned Parenthood in 1942. In 2014, Sanger’s “Negro Project” continues. Black women are disproportionately represented among women who kill their own children in the womb. (Would she have approved of Kermit Gosnell’s work?)

Over 90 percent of black voters choose the party enamored with killing unborn babies. Abortion mill Planned Parenthood, Sanger’s baby (pardon the pun), has lied about fetal development and covered up statutory rape. All in the name of getting rid of “it.”

People who utter politically incorrect words are castigated and condemned. Look at what happened to Donald Sterling, and his conversation was private. But Sanger gets a pass. She’s honored, and her legacy gets favorable treatment.

Liberals toss around words like racist and bigot in an attempt to shut down the other side. But from beyond the grave, Sanger’s work continues. Would she be proud?
