WATCH: Who Are the Racists?

Derryck Green, whose articles have been reprinted on BCN, appeared in a video for Prager University. He discussed how Democrats invoke the “racist” buzzword to maintain black support for liberals and liberal policies. He points out how liberal policies like “affirmative action” are not only demeaning to blacks, but harmful.

I’ve written and spoken against racial preferences for years. To increase “diversity” in the way liberals define it, the government tends to lower standards for admission, hiring, or contracting for certain groups. But primarily, the practice is flat-out unconstitutional and the opposite of “equality before the law.” Individuals can be as color-conscious as they’d like. The government must be colorblind.
