WATCH: Deneen Borelli on Rep. Bennie Thompson's Amnesty Racial Remarks

Last week we published a post about Rep. Bennie Thompson, who said Americans’ opposition to President Barack Obama’s unilateral action to grant amnesty to illegal aliens is because he’s half-black.

“He’s not doing anything that the Bushes, the Reagans, the Clintons, and other presidents all the way back to Eisenhower, as it addressed immigration,” Rep. Thompson said. But as Chris Agee pointed out in his post, other presidents used their power to clarify existing laws rather than change them, as President Obama has done.

Conservative author Deneen Borelli recently appeared on Fox News to dispute Rep. Thompson’s assertion. The Democratic strategist who appeared with her also disagreed with the lawmaker’s race-card comments. I like what Borelli said: “Americans first.” What kind of American in America would oppose that?
