Unbelievable: White House Said Our Fight With Islamic Terrorism is ‘Narrative Battle’

Over the weekend, a Muslim set off a bomb in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City and planted other bombs in the city and near the Marine Corps race in New Jersey. Another Muslim stabbed several people at a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota — a week after the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The police have caught the bombing culprit, Ahmad Khan Rahami.

Reluctant to call such acts by their name — Islamic terrorism — liberal politicians prefer to deflect.

“What I can tell you is that we are, when it comes to ISIL, we are in a fight, a narrative fight with them,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said on CNN Monday. “A narrative battle.”

Tell that to the families of Americans killed by Islamic terrorists. That “narrative” looks more like beheadings, bombs, and bullets.

Concerned Americans woke up to read that our government has mistakenly granted American citizenship to more than 800 immigrants who could pose national security risks and/or had orders for their removal from the country. Their fingerprints weren’t on file.

Why shouldn’t the United States suspend immigration from certain countries, at least until the government can improve vetting?

Donald Trump is called a racist for wanting to build a wall on our border with Mexico and curb immigration from terrorist countries. Israel has a wall to keep out Muslims who want to kill them, and Mexico wants to build one to keep out Central Americas. But the U.S., also a sovereign nation with the right and the authority to shut down its borders completely if it chooses, is the big bad xenophobic-wolf.

Speaking of wolves, the left calls Islamic terrorists lone wolves until the government can make an ISIS connection. But formally connected to ISIS or not, they’re still Islamic terrorists, with cells across this country. We’re not fighting some rogue group. We’re fighting fanatics whose ideology is incompatible with our way of life.

Who will protect us from people who seek to end that way of life and the entire Western Civilization?
