Marc Little, Vice Chair of the board of directors for the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, believes it’s fair for the government to require people applying for food stamps to be tested for drug use.
Little gave two reasons.
“It brings accountability for behavior, number one,” he said. “And number two, it brings the opportunity to identify people who have a need…for treatment. We have an opioid crisis in this country, and when you have an opportunity for the state to partner with CBOs and faith-based organizations, we have an opportunity to bring treatment instead of terminating benefits.”
Little added that a state has an obligation and a right to manage an entitlement program.

They should also have to comply with Body Mass Index standards and prove they’ve been sterilized.
Why does not anyone suggest that politicians be drug tested? Yes, I am being totally serious they work for us and are supposed to take care of our hard earned tax dollars.
I also believe that all politicians to include their staff should be drug tested, The problem is congress would have to approve this procedure and they would never do that to themselves.
I don’t know how we the people can make changes to the swamp to include drug testing, term limits and ending congressional pensions.
