Ken Blackwell, Nephew of the First Black Olympic Gold Winner, Spreads Some Hope in the COVID-19 Crisis

What we need more than ever is hope. The COVID-19 crisis has knocked the world off its axis. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Ken Blackwell, former mayor of Ohio, former member of President Donald Trump’s transition team, and a senior fellow at the Family Research Council, shared a story about his uncle, who competed in the 1924 Olympics in Paris.

DeHart Hubbard became the first black American to win an Olympic gold medal in an individual event.
