  1. I remember a couple of years ago MLK’s “content of character” quote was called a “micro-aggression” by some college professors. That’s when I knew we were in trouble.

  2. An interesting and thought-provoking question. By 1966, many had become frustrated with the slow progress of desegregation–not integration–by virtue of strategy of passive resistance. It was a noble and courageous undertaking that, in the end, would prove superior to the more aggressive and/or militant strategy of a younger generation of African-Americans. You can’t anymore today “cancel” MLK and the effectiveness of non-violent protest anymore than you cancel the teachings or Christ.
