Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, is a name most would recognize for his dogged pursuit to expose “critical race theory” ideology in government schools. He recently spoke with Star Parker, founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, on Cure America.
He said our constitutional republic — or democracy for shorthand — works only if people are engaged. He said that seeing his work “inspire, in part, this grassroots movement of people who are suddenly saying, ‘We care about what happens in our schools,’ ‘We care about what’s happening in our town, our businesses, our community,’ it’s really showing that American spirit.”
When parents and families say they want government to work for our kids and not kids submitting to our government, that’s democracy in America. Rufo explains what else he’s going to do. Watch the brief clip for more.
