The Biden administration is using taxpayers’ money to reimburse service members and their families for time off and to travel to kill their unborn babies. Close to 50 pro-life organizations have asked Republican lawmakers to repeal this policy.
Star Parker agrees with the call to repeal and spoke about the matter on Straight Arrow News.
Federal law bars the use of taxpayers’ money directly for abortions in the military. The loophole? We’re just paying for travel and lodging, not for the abortions. Star calls it sick.
“This is the always conniving, twisted and manipulative logic of the Left,” she said. “We Americans should not just be spectators on this issue. No, not on life.”
This is our money, and the government is spending it on snuffing out life in the womb.
“And just like slavery, this is not a neutral issue,” Star said. “You can’t just sit this one out.”
The U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the annual Defense Authorization Act soon. There is no pro-life language in this legislation. What are Republicans waiting for?
“Each one of us who are pro-life should be calling our congressmn and telling them that we need to do something here,” Star said. “They need to make sure they sure up what the law currently says.”
