Star Parker said on Straight Arrow News that President Joe Biden walked away with 92 percent of the black vote in the 2020 election.
But something has changed, according to the polls. A recent poll of six battleground states shows his support hovering around 70 percent, regardless who the Republican opponent is. Other polls show similar results.
Why? Star quoted a Democratic operative who said Democrats are treating black Americans as if race is the only thing they care about. Some of us, but not all, have moved past this issue.
One gets the impression that black Americans care only about race and not the economy, crime, the crisis at the border, or any other problem. It’s clear that Democrats focus too much on race and identity politics. Does the Democratic party realize that black voters are individuals?
Leftists try to convince black Americans that they’re better off under Bidenomics. Who are you going to believe, Star asked, Biden’s policies or your pocket book?
“The black vote is not a pawn to be moved on a political chess board,” Star said.
