Would you believe that a hospital with Presbyterian in the name is working with an abortionist?
The former religiously affiliated Presbyterian Hospital in New Mexico started working with an abortionist earlier this year, according to the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), and assisting in performing abortions.
Three ultrasound technicians who oppose abortion are concerned that the hospital will force them to choose between violating their religious beliefs or losing their livelihoods. ACLJ said that the abortionist has asked for ultrasound techs at the hospital to help with baby-killing procedures. As a result, the hospital, which has a religious exemption policy, is creating exceptions to that policy.
ACLJ sent the hospital a legal warning letter about the ultrasound technicians’ rights, explaining that because it receives federal funds, it’s subject to federal conscience laws.
“If Presbyterian Hospital does not comply with the law and grant our clients a religious accommodation not to participate in an abortion in any situation,” the ACLJ said, “we are prepared to take aggressive legal action to defend their rights. No one should be forced to take the life of an innocent human being.”
Court rulings have been trending toward protecting religious employees and organizations. If the trend holds, hospital administrators will change their minds and protect the conscience rights of their employees.
No one should be forced to participate in the Murder of an infant!
Concerning Ultrasound, I’ve been wondering if the Imaging Waves can affect growth and development of the Infant’s Brain?
