Big Government is Back — Watch Cure America Episode 42

In his speech to Congress last week, President Joe Biden declared “the era of big government is back.”

This is horrifying news for conservatives and is the exact opposite of what I have fought for in my work of 25 years: a vision for fixing our broken, poor communities driven by my belief in America and what made it successful.

It’s what I call the 3 C’s – the principles of Christianity, the virtues of Capitalism, the rule of law outlined in our Constitution.

Instead of wanting to bring the success of capitalism of to the healthy parts of America and to the broken parts of the country, the Left wants to bring the failed welfare-state socialism of the broken parts of the country to the rest of the nation.

In this week’s episode of CURE America with Star Parker, we tackle this new welfare-state socialism agenda. We talk with economist Phil Kerpen, President of American Commitment and one of the founders of the Committee to Unleash Prosperity. We debate the economic and cultural problems of this agenda and come up with action plans to counter it with political scientist Dr. William Allen, journalist Terry Jeffrey and policy leader Mike Howell.

We also sit down with Illinois Pastor James Ward whose powerful new book “Zero Victim” addresses this attitude of entitlement and victimhood that is so prevalent in our society today.

We know God is our source, not government. But, we have much work to do to help the American people understand that the government should be “of the people, by the people and for the people” not controlled from Washington.
