Ken Blackwell, Senior Fellow for Human Rights and Constitutional Governance at the Family Research Council, talked about policing in poor communities at the recent Center for Urban Renewal and Education’s policy summit. Blackwell said our cities are no longer “fields of dreams” but killing fields, and that we do an injustice to our community when we create fields of opportunity for criminals.
