Campus Reform Asks College Students About Packing the Supreme Court

Campus Reform asked students at the University of Florida whether they support the Democrats’ proposal to expand the U.S. Supreme Court from nine to 13 justices. A few students said yes, some hedged, and one said no.

Then the reporter played a video clip of Joe Biden during congressional hearing in 1983 calling President Franklin Roosevelt’s proposal to pack the high court a “bone-head idea” and a “terrible, terrible mistake to make.” The reporter also played a clip of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg calling court packing a bad idea.

Do the students still support the idea? Watch the brief clip.
