Hillary Clinton, devoid of substance, is reduced to scaremongering to get attention. One liberal tactic is to claim Republicans want to stop blacks and “poor” people from voting. Even if the GOP wanted to do that, it couldn’t.
FreedomWorks Outreach Director Deneen Borelli recently appeared on Fox News to talk about what’s really going on.
“[Clinton] is playing the race card because she is very desperate. And let’s look at the question of why she’s doing so. Hillary Clinton’s scandals are really harming her in the polls, and they’re not going to go away anytime soon. The e-mails, Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation — she doesn’t want to talk about these issues. So what does she do? She changes the channel, she flips the script, and plays the race card.”
Borelli noted that a majority of Americans support voter ID laws, including 51 percent of blacks.
Guest Chuck Rocha implied, with a straight face, that requiring voters to present government-issued photo ID before casting the ballot was oppressive and cumbersome. Nobody likes the DMV, but possessing a photo ID, which you need to do many things in this country, is an ordinary part of life for responsible and law-abiding citizens. To argue otherwise is to insinuate that blacks are too dumb or lazy to be responsible.
I remember that, applying for food stamps, I had to provide photo ID. That covers the poor and it certainly seems like plenty of those poor are blacks. No ID, no food stamps. That must keep thousands of the deserving from getting them! yeah right.
