It’s been a year since Kermit Gosnell’s trial for murdering babies born alive during attempted abortions. He’s in prison serving several life sentences for his heinous crimes.
I couldn’t help thinking the pro-choice crowd just didn’t care that much about the horrors of Gosnell. Either that, or they were afraid we pro-lifers would hold Gosnell up as an example of why abortion should end. If that’s the case, they were right. Directors Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer want the world to know who and what Gosnell was and the horrible nature of his crimes. They’re raising funds for a TV project called the Gosnell Movie, about “America’s biggest serial killer.” From the funding site:
The mainstream media or Hollywood don’t think this is a story. Even though Gosnell killed more people than Gary Ridgeway, John Wayne Gacey, The Zodiac Killer and Ted Bundy combined. In a 30 year killing spree, it is thought he killed 1000s of babies. And that wasn’t a national story?
But Jodi Arias who was on trial at the same time as Gosnell, for killing her boyfriend, just one person, was national news.
Hollywood think the Jodi Arias story is so important they have already made a movie about her which has been shown multiple times on TV.
The censorship of the Gosnell story ends now.
As of this writing, McElhinney and McAleer have raised $204,450 of the $2.1 million needed for the project, with 41 days left. Check out one of Star Parker’s recent columns, One Year Ago…The Horrors of Kermit Gosnell.
