How Have Government School Closures Impacted Students?

Bishop Aubrey Shines of Conservative Clergy of Color discussed with Jonathan Butcher, a senior policy analyst at the Center for Education Policy, the government shutting down schools over the COVID-19 pandemic. Shines asked Butcher about the academic impact of the closings. The closings have affected students academically and psychologically. Butcher touched on grades and reports of suicides among these young people.
