Live from the campus of Liberty University School of Business in Lynchburg, Virginia, this week’s episode of CURE America with Star Parker addresses the importance of keeping our Christian faith in the public square and part of American culture.
Our country was founded by men and women of strong faith and the “free exercise of religion” was a core principle. As secular humanism and moral relativism has become more prominent in society and as radical Marxist philosophies have crept into public life, it is more important than ever for Christians to stand up in the areas of history, technology, economics, education, and government to assure our Christian heritage and beliefs are not shut out of public discourse.
We discuss these areas of our culture with a prominent list of speakers at the conference “Empowering the Kingdom through Business” hosted by Liberty University and co-hosted by CURE Board Member and former NFL player, Jack Brewer. Special guests are Dave Brat, former Congressman and Dean of the LU School of Business; David Barton, historian and founder of Wallbuilders; George Gilder, author, economist, and co-founder of the Discovery Institute; Congressman Bob Good (R-VA); Rod Martin, founder and CEO of the Martin Organization; and Madysen Freeman, a student at Liberty University.
As long as you don’t try to destroy the 1st amendment and the establishment clause, people can do as they please. The problem is some religious want to establish a theocracy. Please keep your religion out of the state. We don’t need sharia law here.
