Twelve Republican United States senators voted with Democrats against President Donald Trump’s attempt to get the funds his administration needs to build a border wall to stop the flow of illegals into the country and protect Americans.
Angel families, whose loved ones were killed by illegal aliens, and members of law enforcement, stood by the president as he signed a veto to the bill that blocked his emergency declaration, an executive action that wouldn’t be necessary if he had his party’s support.
Listen to what a member of law enforcement said to President Trump:
“This is something we are not used to…to have this kind of support. What we say in AZ, this is not about immigration anymore. This is about drug trafficking & human trafficking into this country. If you care about human rights, you should absolutely care about border security.” pic.twitter.com/IDuNY01vXX
