The Limit, Save, Grow Act Can Do What Biden Doesn’t Want to Do — Lowering the National Debt

Have you tuned out the debt ceiling stalemate in Congress? If so, Star Parker doesn’t blame you! But the story might play out different this time around.

“The Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives have now released their answer,” Star said on Straight Arrow News. “It’s called the Limit, Save, Grow Act. Republicans want reforms alongside raising the debt limit. They want to reduce spending and strengthen our economy. That’s what they want. Biden and the Democrats, however, want a blank check. To be clear, a blank check is practically what they already have.”

If you believe the Congressional Budget Office, we’re projected to have $2 trillion in deficits over the next decade. And Biden, who should be on his way to retirement at the end of his term, has no interest in lowering the national debt.
