The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hold a hearing today to hear testimony from Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood CEO, to determine how the abortion mill uses our tax money.
The Center for Medical Progress released at least 10 undercover videos that showed the abortion mill’s executives discussing the sale of aborted-baby body parts.
The videos also showed StemExpress employees picking through body parts. A former employee watched as another tech cut through a baby’s face to get to his brain. From the committee’s page:
- [Planned Parenthood Federation of America] PPFA supports 59 independent affiliates operating 667 health centers across the United States. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, Planned Parenthood reported approximately $1.3 billion in total revenue, of which $528.4 million (41%) is attributed to “government health services grants and reimbursements.”
- CBO estimates that Planned Parenthood receives approximately $450 million annually in federal funds, nearly all of which is from programs administered by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
