Men in Women’s Sports is Unfair and DANGEROUS — Here’s What Star Parker Has to Say

On a recent segment of Straight Arrow News, Star Parker talked about Riley Gaines, who swam for the University of Kentucky and had to compete against a man calling himself Lia Thomas and pretending to be a woman. Gaines recently testified again before Congress about men competing in women’s sports.

Gaines is angry about this, and she’s outspoken. Rep. Summer Lee, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services, said the testimony advocating fairness in women’s sports was transphobic.

Star said the left “likes to throw around claims of hate and ignorance all the time.” That’s why they don’t hesitate to call someone a racist. But the left is the party governed by hate. Star quoted some of Gaines’s testimony.

Gaines told Rep. Lee that if her testimony makes her transphobic, then Lee’s opening monologue makes her a misogynist. Mic drop.

Men competing against women in sports is unsafe, unfair, and discriminatory, Gaines said.

This is a crucial time to oppose such danger, Star said. President Joe Biden has proposed to change Title IX to allow men who want to publicly live out a warped fantasy of pretending to be women to physically endanger women. This will happen at the college level and in K-12.

“This is a threat not only to the fairness of women’s sports, but also [to] the comfort and safety of all female athletes as well,” Star said. “We’re hearing so many stories now about these men, biological men, in the shower rooms with women…young girls.”

The proposed rule has not been finalized. Don’t sit and watch while the executive branch issues an edict. Call your representatives in the House and Senate and tell them how you feel. Get together with other parents and fight this. Contact groups like Moms for Liberty, women’s rights groups, and organizations like The Riley Gaines Center.
