Blue ‘Sanctuary Cities’ Feel the Burden of Illegal Immigration — Is Biden Losing Their Support?

When Vickie Paladino, a councilwoman in New York City, received a call from the mayor’s office, she knew it wouldn’t be good news. One of only six Republicans on the council, Paladino listened to the unwelcome news that 300 migrants would be sheltered in a Roman Catholic high school in her district in Queens.

Paladino tried to fight back, Star Parker said on Straight Arrow News.

Communities along the border have long carried the burden of illegal immigration. Now “sanctuary” New York City is becoming weighed down under the crisis.

“As one Republican spokeswoman recently put it: ‘In Joe Biden’s America, every state is a border state,'” Star said. “And it’s true. On August 8, the Democratic governor of Massachusetts sent a letter to Biden declaring a state of emergency over the migrant crisis. In the letter, Governor Healey stated Massachusetts has stepped up to address what sadly been a federal crisis of inaction that is many years in the making. This is Massachusetts we’re talking about. They love Biden — or at least they used to.”
