Charmaine Yoest, Vice President for the Institute for Family, Community and Opportunity at the Heritage Foundation, recently appeared on Star Parker’s show, Cure America. She spoke about whether Supreme Court justices should be subjected to a litmus test.
Yoest said we must be really careful as we move forward in the nomination hearings in consideration of the Supreme Court vacancy. We don’t have to know for sure how Judge Amy Coney Barrett would rule on a particular issue. That’s a question for legislators. The prominent pro-lifer said that we’ve turned judges into “super legislators.”
We need to know whether all our justices are committed to upholding the Constitution. Watch the brief clip for more.
Always love talking with my friend @StarParker on her show Cure America. Conversation this week was on supporting Judge Amy Coney Barrett – while avoiding litmus tests that view judges as super-legislators. #SCOTUS pic.twitter.com/EkEz1mfhRd
