The Pine-Richland School District in Pennsylvania has gone behind parents’ backs and is scheming to socially “transition” their mentally confused and peer-pressured children.
America First Legal (AFL) has exposed the Pine-Richland School District. These people, in this climate, are keeping secrets and dismantling the careful safeguarding parents have taught (or should have taught) their children to protect them from danger, including adult predators.
AFL filed a lawsuit against the school district last week on behalf of a concerned parent. According to the complaint (PDF), the administrative regulations require the school district, without parental consent, to “engage in a secret psychological evaluation of the student, including students as young as 5, conducted by government psychologists, who assist the child with a plan in transitioning to a new gender.”
The school district also requires teachers and other staff to refer to a student by a preferred pronoun and preferred name to their faces and in official student records.
A boy pretending to be a girl can put the girls at risk and walk right into their restrooms and play on their sports teams. How the girls feel about it doesn’t count.

Further, the School District believes that “notifying a student’s parent/guardian about his or her gender identity or transition may be unnecessary.” AFL’s client sent written notice to the School District that, absent her prior written consent, the School District shall not refer her child to any mental health counselor or social worker for evaluation and that the School District notify her of any matters related to the “gender identity” or “gender dysphoria” expressed by her child.
But the Pine-Richland School District told this mother to pound sand. If her child displayed the mental health and peer-pressure problem of “transgenderism,” they wouldn’t tell her anything about it.
“As if we are living in a dystopian novel, schools across the country are now enacting policies to facilitate the genital mutilation and chemical castration of children without any parental input,” AFL attorney Nicholas Barry said. “These schools can’t give a child an Advil without parental consent because fit parents have the right to direct the care and upbringing of their children without interference from the government. But these same schools will socially transition a child without any parental input.”
Barry calls what this school district is doing governmental tyranny.
