Power, Poverty, & Politics Podcast: Today’s Disconnect from Dr. King’s Dream

On this episode of Power, Poverty, & Politics with Star Parker, she talks about how Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s, message got lost today.

“The problem, as King explained, is not America nor the eternal truths that were brought to bear in its founding of our great country,” Star said. “The problem was the failure of the nation to live up to the challenges of its great founding principles. And this was the heart of Dr. King’s message that day. He appealed to the nation to realize the dream of its founding fathers, not to crush it, not to bury it, not the rhetoric we’re hearing today.”

Is the problem white people? Not according to Dr. King. Listen to this important episode here or on Spotify, Apple, iHeart Radio, Amazon Music, or Stitcher to find out more.
