Pro-Lifers Will March for Life on Friday — The Fight Continues

Americans who believe unborn babies have the right to live will converge on Washington, D.C. on Friday, January 19, to participate in the National March for Life.

In Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022), the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the U.S. Constitution does not confer a right to an abortion — overturning Roe v. Wade (1973) and Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992).

The “law of the land” precedent ended, but unborn babies are still dying. The Dobbs decision returned the abortion issue to the states.

We still have a reason to march. We still commemorate the loss of millions of unborn babies. We must continue to build a culture of life in this country and urge state governments to enforce abortion bans.

The National March for Life site announced a change for this year’s march (emphasis added):

In order to mark not only our victory in Dobbs but also our need to maintain a presence in Washington, this year’s March for Life will have a slightly different marching route than in years past. This year we will also march past the Capitol and finish between the Capitol and Supreme Court. We will give witness to the inherent dignity of the human person to pro-life and pro-abortion legislators alike, helping them understand that we will not cease advocating for women and children until every life is protected.

The rally begins at 12 P.M. on the National Mall, and the march starts at 1 P.M.
