A police officer recently shot and killed a suspect in Oklahoma. The officer’s body camera recorded the incident. The man resisted arrest by running, then faced the officer with a loaded gun. The police have mere seconds to respond to such threats.
The NAACP said the cop should have asked the suspect questions first. Unbelievable.
Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee said it was a good shoot — a justifiable shooting. He said this of the NAACP:
“This once-proud organization that was a force for good has relegated itself into irrelevancy, and I challenge anybody to name the last significant accomplishment that the NAACP has achieved in the United States for people of color.” (I used to called the organization a dinosaur.)
Sheriff Clarke has some suggestions for the NAACP on what it should be focusing on in the black community.
