Sheriff David Clarke On How the Indictment Against Pro-Lifers Might Impact This Big Issue

A Texas grand jury indicted two pro-lifers who went undercover to expose Planned Parenthood’s aborted-baby body parts sales. Sheriff David Clarke appeared on Fox News to weigh in on the indictment against David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt.

The sheriff acknowledged that he isn’t privy to all the information the grand jury had, doesn’t know all the elements of the relevant laws, and doesn’t want to jump to conclusions, but he said the indictment “is going to be discouraging for whistleblowers. This is going to be discouraging in our age of terrorism” in light of the “see something, say something sort of thing.”

If people are going to be afraid to expose something for fear of prosecution, “it’s going to discourage people from getting involved and doing the right thing, turning in government when they see some graft or corruption.”

  1. The sheriff is absolutely correct on this. But isn’t that exactly why they’re being indicted? To shut down dissent and silence the whistleblowers? People, please WAKE UP!!
