It was a great week for Life during March for Life, and I included a couple of photos I took with Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, for you to see below.
CURE has been working for years to help get penalties in the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act and the House of Representatives voted for it!
Also, we love that debate is moving forward on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in the Senate!
It’s a testament to the horrors of abortion that we need these laws. But with positive news, we haven’t seen this type of pro-life movement from Congress in decades!
On top of these successes, our President spoke life into the issue of Life from the Rose Garden! This was the first time a president spoke IN PERSON to the thousands of March for Life participants who make the trek to our capital every year for nearly a half-century! I’ve spent years working with many of these pro-lifers and we all know how important this is for our movement. It was my honor to meet with our friends and allies who marched in Washington, DC.
Our work is just beginning.
