Jason Johnson, president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, recently spoke at the Center for Urban Renewal and Education’s policy summit on public trust in law enforcement.
If you lose that trust, Johnson said, you can’t maintain order or “enforce the law without overcoming insurmountable barriers to hold people accountable who are actually committing crimes.”
