Star Parker Said Donald Trump Should Not Retreat on Abortion

Do you know what the federal Women’s Health Protection Act would do if passed?

Star Parker said it would “override every state limit on abortion and every conscience protection for doctors and nurses whose religion or their personal beliefs preclude them from participating in the performance of an abortion.”

On her latest segment at Straight Arrow News, Star called President Donald Trump a champion for life when he was in the White House. But now? Abortion is an issue for the states.

“That approach was not appropriate in dealing with slavery and it is not the right way to address abortion,” Star said. “Slavery and the taking of innocent human life are both crimes against humanity. The first responsibility of every government official – federal, state or local – is to defend the life and dignity of every human being.”

Star said she displays a quote from the great Booker T. Washington outside her office: “A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right, and evil doesn’t become good just because it’s accepted by a majority.”

What we need are leaders with the “principled vision” of Washington, a former slave, to stand up for human life inside and outside the womb.

What we don’t need are the extreme abortion positions of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, Star said.

Trump should not retreat on the issue of abortion. Watch Star’s full segment below or at Straight Arrow News.
