Fox News‘s Greg Gutfeld recently interviewed Dr. Ben Carson to get his take on race relations in the aftermath of the NYPD assassinations. Gutfeld asks, “How do we repair the damage?”
Dr. Carson pointed at that without the police, of course there would be chaos. You find “bad apples” in any group, but police make our lives better in every community.
Gutfeld makes an important point: the police are the victims of their own success. The crime rate has dropped in places like New York City, because of the police, and now people forget what it was like before the crackdown. They assume things will remain this way.
Dr. Carson explains what will happen if people keep piling on the police.
