Star Parker, former welfare dependent, traveled to Kentucky to tell students at the University of Louisville about the importance of capitalism. It’s good for morale, which is good for the middle-class and for workers. Ownership builds morale in people’s lives.
Star knows firsthand what it’s like to be dependent on the government, and she’s seen what bloated government does to low-income communities. She was one of the consultants on welfare reform legislation in the mid-90s.
