Not too long ago, Sen. Chuck Schumer didn’t want to make a nuclear deal with Iran.
Now that President Donald Trump has withdrawn the U.S. from the deal, he’s singing a different tune. And as usual, Rep. Maxine Waters is calling from the president’s impeachment.
Schumer said we should stick with the agreement, because “it’s not being violated in any way.”
But Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel has proof that Iran has a secret nuclear program.
Aren’t liberals happy about North Korea releasing three American hostages, a possible good-will gesture toward talks between the country and the U.S. about nuclear weapons?
“Democrats and their left-wing media allies are deeply troubled,” the Conservative Review’s Deneen Borelli said, “because President Trump is exposing former President Obama as ‘The Art of the Failed Deal.’ Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran did not include the release of American hostages.”
Instead, the year before, Obama released seven prisoners born in Iran who’d been held in the U.S., some of whom his own Justice Department claimed were national security threats. The release of these individuals was his attempt to convince Iran to release American hostages.
It didn’t work.
Borelli recalled the time when a reporter at a White House press conference asked Obama about leaving hostages in Iran. Obama’s response was…awkward. Watch the clip to hear his remarks and what else Borelli has to say about the left’s reaction to the president’s successes.
A new strain of #TrumpDerangementSyndrome is spreading, and it is all about the #IranDeal@DeneenBorelli with the cold hard truth of the matter on the latest #HeresTheDeal

You are a top notch journalist. While I may not agree with all of your points they are backed up by facts. A rare thing in today’s media…
Fantastic journalism, Deneen. And, I agree with you 100%. The DEEP STATE / BANANA REPUBLIC thought it was “gliding down the highway,” but it is “slip, sliding away.”

Ms. Borelli, I recall a private citizen, Rev. Jesse Jackson, having great success in securing the release of American hostages held in Syria, Yugoslavia, Cuba and in Iraq. President Trump should of course be commended for bringing these men home…but it is not unprecedented.
