Leftist politicians’ support for weakened safeguarding for children, endangering women in sports, and advocating for illegal alien thugs played a huge role in the re-election of President Donald Trump and Republicans retaking the Senate. But Democrats are doubling down on all of these issues.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced that the administration is going after Maine for violating Title IX by allowing boys on girls’ sports teams.
Congress passed Title IX to bar sex-based discrimination in schools and educational programs that receive federal tax money. Girls and women were guaranteed equal opportunity in these programs, which includes sports. A man competing against a woman on women’s sports teams violates this guarantee.
Male athletes are putting girls and women at risk and stealing their opportunities for victories. These boys and men are also violating women’s privacy in restrooms and locker rooms. Maine has refused to comply with the law.
