Fired Virginia News Station Reporter Murders Former Co-Workers On Air – UPDATED

This is a developing story. Sources are reporting that Vester Flanagan, a fired news anchor at WDBJ known as Bryce Williams on air, murdered a reporter and cameraman during a live broadcast earlier today. He filmed himself shooting the reporter and cameraman.

Flanagan tweeted about the shootings and updated his Facebook page. 

According to some reports, Flanagan attempted to kill himself, but he’s still alive in critical condition. Described as a “disgruntled former employee,” Flanagan accused the woman he killed, Alison Parker, of making “racist comments.”

Update: The Hill is reporting that Flanagan has died.
