What This Southern State Did Will Frustrate Abortion Advocates

South Carolina is the latest state to launch an investigation into Planned Parenthood. A legislative panel in the state’s House of Representatives will review state agencies’ relationships with the abortion mill.

The House Legislative Oversight Committee voted 9-7 to launch the investigation. Liberal legislator James Smith called the probe political “red meat” for pro-lifers. Did Rep. Smith think about the words before he said them? There was plenty of “red meat” to see on those undercover videos.

Pro-life Gov. Nikki Haley is already on the case. She asked the state’s Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) to investigate South Carolina’s abortion mills. DHEC failed to investigate these clinics consistently as required by law. South Carolina will review Medicaid reimbursement cases.

Pro-lifer Holly Gatling said, “Interest in probing abortion providers that receive State funding has been triggered nationwide following a series of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood officials in California discussing the sale of the organs and tissues of aborted babies.”

The Center for Medical Progress’s undercover videos show Planned Parenthood executives and StemExpress casually discussing the sale of aborted-baby body parts. Some videos show procurement technicians gruesomely picking through those parts. StemExpress ended its relationship with Planned Parenthood, but it’s still in the pro-life movement’s crosshairs.

  1. StemExpress may be trying to distance themselves but they are just as guilty as Planned Parenthood. They will also stand before God with the blood of babies on their hands.
