Does Planned Parenthood Really Want the Government to Force Christian Doctors to Perform Race-Based Abortions?

Not only does Planned Parenthood want to stop laws that ban race- and sex-based abortions and those based on a diagnosis of Down syndrome, the soon-to-be former president of the abortion giant wants the government to force doctors and nurses to kill the voiceless and vulnerable unborn.

Cecile Richards recently announced she was leaving Planned Parenthood. Life News reported that she sent fellow abortion advocates an e-mail, urging them to contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to oppose the Trump administration’s proposed guidelines to protect Christian medical professionals who don’t want to kill babies.

An excerpt:

Richards sent Planned Parenthood abortion activists a follow-up email today asking them to once again speak out against conscience rights for medical professionals.

“President Trump continues to outdo himself when it comes to pushing terrible health care policy that will do nothing but hurt patients,” Richards claims in the new email. “But his latest attack is truly shameful: a proposed rule released by HHS seeks to encourage health care workers to discriminate against patients by refusing to provide care because of religious, moral, or personal objections.”

“Heath care workers might refuse to treat a person seeking an abortion,” Richards adds.

If Richards and other abortion advocates had their way, medical professionals who believe abortion is the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another — murder — would be ordered to comply with the law or face consequences — even if the abortion was based on the baby’s race.

Indiana bars abortionists from knowingly killing unborn babies based solely on their race, sex, or disability. As governor, Vice President Mike Pence signed the bill into law. Abortion advocates sued the state, and the case is before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. The plaintiffs say the law “imposes an undue burden on a woman’s right to choose an abortion because it bars that choice under certain circumstances, even if the pregnancy is in its early stages and the fetus is not viable.”
