This Female High School Athlete’s Complaint Against the ‘Transgender’ Nonsense Might Trigger Similar Complaints

Selina Soule is a high school track runner who came in eighth place in the race. She was trying to qualify for regional finals, but two males pretending to be females came in ahead of her. Had they not competed, Soule would have made the top six and qualified for the regional finals.

The “transgender” nonsense — or rather, the government’s complicity in the nonsense — cost a girl running on a female track team an earned opportunity.

Soule’s legal counsel, Alliance Defending Freedom, announced that she and two other students filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights against the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference.

Soule said on Fox News that while no one is happy about what’s happening with women’s athletics in Connecticut, “no one has enough courage to speak up, and I haven’t been the only one affected by this. There have been countless other female athletes in the state of Connecticut, as well as my entire indoor track team. We missed out on winning the state open championship because of the team that the transgender athlete was on.”

Soule said she’s gotten support from her teammates and other athletes but some retaliation from coaches and school officials.

It’s mind-boggling that a purportedly rational and freedom-loving people have allowed the homosexual lobby and our own government to bully citizens who oppose homosexuality in all its forms and to pressure them to immerse themselves in the deviant fantasy of “transgenderism.” The consequences include invading women’s spaces and sports. Women have to forgo their expectations of privacy, modesty, safety, and fairness. Perhaps this complaint will trigger more complaints and encourage others to speak up.
