Debacle in Afghanistan: Watch Cure America Episode 55

On this week’s episode of CURE America, we analyze the tragedy unfolding in Afghanistan as President Joe Biden’s decision to pull U.S. troops out of the country has led to the Taliban seizing the government and beginning a new reign of terror on the people, especially anyone allied with the United States.

The quick toppling of the country to terrorists and visual images of desperation in the people of Afghanistan has the American people questioning the decision, humiliated for our country who is supposed to be a beacon for the world, and heartbroken for those left behind.

We speak with a heartbroken Afghani woman, Nazira Karimi, an Afghan journalist who Americans witnessed emotionally ask questions of Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby, wanting answers as to how the U.S. could allow the Taliban to again take over her beloved country. Nazira escaped persecution from the Taliban in the 1990’s and had to flee to the U.S. for safety.

We also get a General’s perspective on the decisions that were made by the Commander-in-Chief. Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin, who spent 36 years in the Army and directed its special forces speaks directly to the troops that have served in Afghanistan. He is a pastor and Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council.

And we get in-depth analysis from our panel: Jonathan Alexandre, Senior Counsel of Liberty Counsel Action; Terry Jeffrey, Editor in Chief of CNS News; and Matthew Brodsky, Senior Fellow of the Gold Institute for International Strategy.

Thank you for watching this important episode. Please share with a friend and please pray for our country and peace in the world.
