None of us will forget anytime soon Donald Trump’s debate with three people on ABC. Trump had to argue with Kamala Harris, and “moderators” David Muir and Linsey Davis in what was supposed to be a contest with Harris only.
Star Parker set the record straight about this debate in a recent segment on Straight Arrow News. She fact-checked Muir on his claim that the FBI said crime overall was going down. She said that a “recent Justice Department survey found a significant increase in violent crime between 2020 and 2023. Violent crime went up 37 percent, rape was up 42 percent, robbery was up 63 percent, and stranger violence was up 61 percent.”
Davis challenged Trump’s factual claims that Michigan/Tim Walz allows abortion up to the ninth month, and babies born alive are left to die (he signed the bill).
Unfortunately, the claims are true.
“A map distributed by ABC showed that one of those states with no time limits is Tim Walz’s state of Minnesota,” Star said. “Minnesota’s Department of Health has reported that three infants were born alive during abortion procedures in 2019, Walz’s first year as governor, and they perished without receiving life saving care.”
Five more babies were born alive in Michigan in 2021. Medical professionals did not provide life-saving care for these babies.
Kamala Harris twice voted against protecting voiceless and vulnerable babies born alive during an abortion procedure.
