A Nation Has a Right and Responsibility to Protect Its Borders — Biden is Failing

The Biden administration recently ended Title 42, a Trump-era policy that allowed the CDC to bar foreigners infected with communicable diseases from entering the U.S. and order rapid deportation without a hearing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those who oppose open borders and support the rule of law believe Title 42 has helped control the influx of people at the borders, which has now become a flood. Americans living near the southern border are pleading for help. Leftist have paid no attention…until red-state governors began sending illegal aliens to blue cities. Now they understand.

Star Parker talked about this issue in a recent segment of Straight Arrow News.

The unchecked consequences of illegal immigration include sex and drug trafficking. Unsecured borders impact the economy, welfare, communities, families, and the rule of law.

“A sovereign nation has a right and a responsibility to secure its borders, to protect its citizens,” Star said.

Why is President Joe Biden not doing something about this?

Star said that Title 42 “provided the necessary tool to protect our communities, at least temporarily, some of it. The decision to end this policy is a clear example of putting policy — politics — over the safety and security of our nation.”

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it is confident that men and women on the front lines can handle the problem.

“Well, with limited resources, infrastructure, limited manpower, are those on the front line confident in this administration?” Star said. “And then beyond those serving on our border, it’s the communities around our borders that are on the front lines.”

Joe Biden is failing to protect our nation. Watch the clip below to hear more about this pressing problem.
