Biden’s Radical Agenda Is Aimed At Weakening Protections for Americans Who Oppose Abortion and Homosexuality

Get ready. Joe Biden will be busy if he’s elected president. We all know what leftist presidents do. They advocate policies that violate the rights of Christians and others who openly oppose abortion and homosexuality.

This is why it’s important for conservative presidents to have a conservative Congress. Governing by executive orders is a double-edged sword. Presidents have the power to rescind the previous president’s executive orders. That’s either good or bad for their constituents, depending on the party to which they belong.

Joe Biden, if elected president, will rescind President Donald Trump’s orders that protect the rights of Christian medical professionals who object to killing the unborn and performing so-called gender reassignment surgery, for example. Biden will redirect federal funding away from clinics that don’t kill unborn babies to clinics that do. According to an “Early Executive Actions” memo, Biden will end the Mexico City Policy (which banned federal funding for non-government international organizations that kill unborn babies or promote their deaths as a family planning method) and restore funding to Planned Parenthood and contraceptive coverage under Obamacare.

One side of the aisle considers President Trump’s actions as protecting the rights of pro-lifers and individuals who believe marriage is the union between one man and one woman. The other side views his actions as weakening “rights” for homosexuals.

In that regard, Biden has promised to prioritize the Equality Act, which will impinge on free speech and freedom of religion. Star Parker, president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, explained in a column last year why this legislation would create inequality.

The measure would amend “all major civil rights law, including the 1964 Civil Rights Act, to include ‘sexual orientation’ and ‘gender identity’ along with race, sex and religion as classes that are protected from discrimination.” More from the column:

We now have a majority of members of Congress who are prepared to pass into law that the sex individuals are born with — their chromosomal and physical reality — will take a back seat to how those individuals choose to define their own sexual identity. Henceforth, we’ll be done with the idea that there is some objective reality independent of what any particular individual decides it is.

Religious freedom goes out the window if this bill becomes law.

It explicitly defines itself as overriding the Religious Freedom Restoration Act that can protect people, such as Christian baker Jack Phillips, from being forced to do commerce that violates their Christian convictions.

There will be no more legal protections for Christians in commerce or in any other circumstance to enable them to avoid complicity with behavior that for them is sin.

Additionally, Biden will restore Barack Obama’s “transgender” mandate for government schools to allow boys pretending to be girls to enter girls’ private facilities like restrooms and locker rooms. President Trump decided not to enforce the directive.

The executive orders President Trump put in place to protect the unborn and the rights of religious Americans will end once Biden takes office. Elections have consequences.

  1. Those who oppose abortion have a legal remedy for that. They should pursue it. Those opposing homosexuality have no legal recourse. How they would go about preventing homosexuality is anybody’s guess.

The idea is not to prevent homosexuality. People can do whatever they want with consenting adults. The problem is when the homosexual agenda infringes on the rights of people to openly oppose it, express disagreement, and practice a faith in which the God of the Bible calls homosexuality a sin.

      • A fine explanation. I’ve learned something. For me, I have to recite The Lord’s Prayer each night before retiring. I can’t (and won’t) discriminate against the LGBT community during the day and try to get away with it.

      • I started reading BCN a few years ago because of Star and continue today because of All the Great Conservatives that BNC’s Senior Editor posts. ThankYou!
You are Correct on this subject! The LBGTQ community wanted acceptance at first but now if you don’t participate Or praise them they will sue you for Discrimination.
